Shandong Vocational College of Science & Technology is a state-run and province-managed full-time college , was founded in 1978, one of 1200 National Model of Higher Vocational Institutions was approved by Ministry of Education of China. More than 30 years, the college cultivated entrepreneurial talents as dominant, established an idea of educating students was "entrepreneurship, profession, business", strongly advocated values was "make developers succeed , make business dreams come true", mainly cultivated developing mode was "Entrepreneurial-oriented Mode which keep the workplace teaching as the base", the college has developed a comprehensive vocational college, engineering as main subject, both economy and humanities. At present the college has fixed assets of 5.7 billion yuan, whose total layout area is 2506 mou (167 hectares). The total floorage of school buildings is 390000 square meters. The college has a library with a stock of 760 thousand volumes, 45 majors. The student population is more than 11,000. Employment rate of graduates keeps in 98% for five consecutive years.
